Purina Food corporation has announced a new food product into its line of pet brands that will change the way America travels with its canine companions. The new product line, Foods For Two, is the latest trend that combines nutritious ingredients for both canine and human consumption. Foods For Two looks and smells like dog food, allowing dogs to believe they are consuming their own food. Human companions can consume the food as well, and both can enjoy a meal on the go without the hassle of packing two separate food sources. The flavors will include Chicken and Rice, Steak and Potatoes, Beef and Veggies, and for those who prefer a healthy option, Celery and Carrot Combo. The packaging consists of self sealing plastic pouches with a side pocket for a napkin or wet wipe for quick clean up. Inside the pouch is a small circular inset that can be inflated and used as a dog dish, allowing both dog and owner to share from one dispensary. The wet wipe can also be used to cleanse the bowl which can then serve as a water reservoir.
Purina has indicated that the availability of Foods For Two will be revealed at the 2020 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Most private pet owners are placing pre-orders, as Foods For Two is expected to flood the markets as a sold out product before it reaches the pet foods store isles. The stock market is watching how the product does, and celebrities are cashing in as well. Michelle Obama, a known activist and supporter of nutritional food choices, has already received an exclusive sampling of Foods For Two. “It’s multifaceted. It’s physical, it’s internal, it’s my diet and my emotional state-it’s all tied in together.” -Michelle Obama.
In addition, Oprah and Abby Lee Miller, who also will be endorsing the product line, have received samples as well. The unveiling of Foods for Two is expected to change the pet food industry by becoming the next biggest trend in pet and human food consumption.
